Hyaluronic Acid (HA) Injections

Hyaluronic Acid is normally found in high concentrations in any synovial joint within the synovial fluid. Hyaluronic Acid serves multiple purposes including maintaining high fluid viscosity preventing friction (lubricate) and cushion the joint. HA is important in maintaining joint cartilage and minimizing inflammation.

Hyaluronic Acid (HA) Injections are typically used to treat osteoarthritis related pain in the shoulders, hips and knees.
